vans/pro tec pool party day 2

The next day we got a vans gift card to the vans store and we recieved v.i.p. passes for the contest.

This is what I bought with the gift card. 2 half cabs and a hat.

Pictures of the bowl. Seriously big.

Mike Rogers

Steve Olson was one of the judges, so was Christian Hosoi and Bryce Kanights.

Steve Steadham killing it.

Cab.

Ben Schroder.

Cab invert.

Schroder fall.

Chris Miller, the smoothest guy there.

Lester Kasai.

Omar Hassan.

Cab falling on the longest boardslide contest. He won though with 18 blocks or something crazy like that.

Chris Miller tweaking like crazy. He won for the fourth time in a row.

Definately the best contest. So many legends killing it.

vans/pro tec pool party day 1

Our shop was chosen for a free trip out to california to watch the vans/pro tec pool party, courtesy of vans. Of course we accepted and tim and I went. They paid for our flight, hotel, go karting, bar tab, and meals. We probably only spent a couple of dollars on little things. It was definately worth the trip.

The view from our hotel window.

Me in the elevator.

We walked outside to the pool area and saw the sickest koi fish pond.

After lurking the koi pond, vans took all of us(there were other shops from around the country) go karting at this indoor track.

In the racing outfit.

For electric karts they were hella fast. Lots of crashes.

I had a bad headache from all the flying and eating right before go karting didn't help my stomach, so i went outside and threw up on some bushes.

Then I went to the hotel and fell asleep.

abandoned... again

Some more stuff from that putt putt place.

Notice how the board is coming right at me.

Lip skidder on the parking block. I think he came in fakie.

gone fishing

Some fish caught by me and my friend jazz.
